Home › Forums › Writing Group for COST Action 2022 › how to use the shared Google doc to collaborative write the proposal
Hi everybody,
this is a quick introduction to how to use the shared Google doc to collaborative write the proposal:
1. The last version of the proposal is always available in the working group repository https://community.lifewatchitaly.eu/working-groups/cost-action-proposal/repository/ then open the Proposal Documents folder and open the Technical Annex draft. A Google doc will open.
2. Be sure to use the “Suggesting” mode in the upper-right corner. A short video that explains how to do it is available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csNSb92awnc
3. Go ahead in editing the document. Please do not accept/refuse other edits, in case you disagree on previous edits, write comments over the edits of your colleagues.
4. In Google docs there is no “save” button, everything is automatically saved, it doesn’t matter how many people are working on it. If you delete something by mistake, you can reverse the action with CMD+Z. If you can’t, don’t panic, just tell us, we can always go back to the last saved version.
Cheers,
Andrea
