Hello everybody,
since we are the first user of the community I opened the following thread to report all the bugs and issues related to the community usage, and if they are solved.
Recommendations:– Please post only bug-related issues (not questions on how-to).
– Always remember to write what browser are you using.
– Number the new bug according to the last reported bug in order to follow up easilyCheers

1.
from my personal profile I cannot access the WG I’m member but not manager [COST Action Proposal].
my profile->Groups joined->COSt Action proposal->This is a Private group! In order to access it please send a Join Request!2.
Following the same path, “Groups joined” become “Joined groups” in the subsequent page3. Using the repository function in “member” mode, I can delete folders but I cannot add folders (same with documents).

from my personal page, if I click on manage groups->[group name]->it brings me to the wall of activities of the group. From there, I cannot visualize forums, folders, and any other feature of the WG. It would be preferable to go directly to the Working Group main page.16 September 2022 at 11:54 #9131Cristina Di MuriKeymaster[chrome] [safari]
5. Personal profile’s wall or Wall Activity. The list of activities are reported as “Name of the User has created a new blog post” without indicating the real activity that the user has performed e.g., “Cristina Di Muri has opened a Forum in XXX”, “Cristina Di Muri has created a Topic within the Forum YYY” etc. Would it be possible to have a list of activities specifying the type of activity performed?

6.
When opening a new Forum for the first time, it directly opens the title and subtitle page to be filled in. Would be helpful to have an help text similar to that one appearing when creating a new folder for the first time.
suggestion for help text: “Please provide a Title and Subtitle for the new Forum. Only one Forum can be created. Once you have created a new Forum, every member will be able to create new Topics and reply to existing Topics creating new Posts.”19 September 2022 at 14:25 #9194Andrea TaralloKeymaster[safari]
7. When visiting the page “scientific skill”, only the profiles of admin, Alberto Basset, Cristina Di Muri appeare.
However, when filtering, for instance, for data sciences, also Francesco de Leo appears. I expect to find all the registered members in the first page (no filters applied).8. When adding my scientific skills, if no macrocategory are selected, the profile cannot be subsequent filtered on the Scientific Skill directory. For Example: I selected “Data Management” among my scientific skills; This is a subcategory of “Data Sciences”; Then, in the Scientific Skills directory I filtered for “Data SCiences”, but my profile doesn’t show up (because I didn’t check the macrocategory). Or the filter can recognize the macrocategory to which my subcategory belongs, or in alternative when I select the subcategory, the macrocategory is automatically selected as well.
9. I cannot edit posts in the forum of Working Group LifeWathPLUS (that I created). With Chrome the bug is not present.

10. Anytime a new page is loaded, a username-password suggestion pops-up. This happens only with Safari, tested with different computers and different users.

11. Using the Basset’profile: when creating a Forum in a new Group, the “create a new Forum” button doesn’t show up

We have noticed that a few people who have received the invitation to join a Working Group have seen their access denied after clicking on the invitation link. This might be due to these users not being logged in while accepting the invitation. To avoid this, I would suggest to add a brief sentence to the invitation email such as (see sentence in bold):
“Dear User, XX invited you to join the group “YYY“. You can accept the invitation by clicking on the following link: …….
Please, make sure you are logged in before accepting this invitation or your access to this working group may be denied.
Kind regards,
LifeWatch Community”
